When ‘JEALOUS’ causes men to weep

I have always believed in this one self-philosophy; “stay strong and never let your emotions take full control…” and for me it was the perfect interpretation of absolute strength. But I’m just about to embrace the reverse of that.

black_man_crying There is no point in posing to be what is termed as being ‘too strong’ as there’s a soft part of every person; males and female alike.

In Africa, there’s this proverb that says, “A man does not cry”.  And truth be told, in my entire life, I don’t recall ever seeing my Dad or any elderly male relative shed a tear even in the toughest of times.

Well, this long-standing “TRUTH” imbued in this wise saying has served as an unbreakable shield that has protected females, deemed weaker ones in the society at breaking point.

But I think it absolutely okay for a man to cry sometimes… Yes, I meant to say that really it is okay to cry sometimes …

I’m sure this video will explain better what I want to say…

Apparently, apart from the terrible news from The Kwame Nkrumah Circle flood-prone areas like Spintex, Avenor, Chorkor, Kokomlemle, Kosoa and others had their own share of terror...
